Katie W. Robinette joined Healthy Minds Canada in January of 2013 after a long career in government relations (both for-profit and non-profit) and leadership roles in campaigns and elections in Canada and the US.

Since joining HMC’s team as Executive Director, Katie has been committed to increasing both the number of volunteers and expanding their areas of service as part of an overall effort to increase the engagement of HMC’s community. She is also working to amplify the voice of HMC by promoting the work that we do through better and more targeted use of on-line tools. She strives to ensure that HMC remain accountable to our stakeholders - in addition to our annual Financial Audit, HMC conducts an annual On-Line Audit, which is used to help us more strategically and effectively leverage our on-line presence.


She has been a contributor to PolicyMic.com, has been a regular guest on CTV News Channel and CBC Radio, and has also appeared on Newstalk 1010 and Radio 1610.
