Steve brings nearly four decades of diverse healthcare IT experience – 22 years in the provider environment, 8 years in the laboratory services space and 7 years in healthcare application and data integration for a major cloud services provider. From the implementation of HIS systems, to Y2K, to the integration of IT operations upon a merger of two hospitals, Steve has been a convener of manager of multidisciplinary teams – clinical, financial and operational – to accomplish major strategic initiatives in the health system setting.

Most recently, Steve served as the Director, Client Engagement at Covisint where he led the formation of the healthcare client management services team to support the national AT&T reseller program of cloud platform services – MPI and CDR - whose target clients included HIEs, ACOs and other care organizations. In this role, Steve touched some of the largest healthcare organizations in the U.S. in complex, data-centric implementations and service relationships. Steve led the creation of a dedicated healthcare reseller client management division and a reseller client management team. Steve led a product design steering committee that brought clients together to shape product roadmaps. Steve’s brings a deep knowledge of healthcare operations, the ability to engage multiple departmental stakeholders, and keen attention to metrics management.

As Director, Product Planning at MedPlus, Steve led strategic marketing, product planning and vendor services whose responsibilities were to grow new and existing vendor partnerships, evaluate acquisitions, and inform product roadmaps to fuel growth and satisfaction within the partner ecosystem.
