 Author of studies on the legal and economic aspects of art creation and distribution, Irene Silberstein associates the experience of SMEs, industries of culture and organisations to the practice of information, complex systems and Internet services. 
Irene Silberstein, presently Managing director and senior consultant for iSkiv Limited had long been in information research, having managed "Irene Silberstein Khouvine Information" from 1993 to 2004, as an independent consultant, in France. Formerly, she founded one of the first online bookseller services and developed tools for book and information retrieval. From 1989 to 1991 she had been teaching the databases and research networks at I M A C Institute of technology. She associates the experience of SMEs, industries of culture and organisations to the practice of information and complex systems, having been in charge of the French Art dealers association from 1974 to 1984. Author of studies on the legal and economic aspects of art creation and distribution for the French Ministry of Culture, she gained experience in European lobbying, setting up and managing from 1977 to 1984 the AIDOAO, the European art dealers association, along with an economic information centre. Irene Silberstein launched Information Strategies Key Intangible Value Limited with Rachel Hageman in January 2005 in the UK, a company delivering information and Internet services. They pioneered in the web arena, creating content rich services and e-commerce solutions back to the nineties.
