Ada Pinkston is a multimedia artist, organizer, educator, sister, aunt, and daughter who lives and works in the Baltimore Maryland. Over the past ten years, she worked as a mentor and educator focusing on youth leadership development. As an artist who works with people she truly believes in the transformative power of the creative process. Her art explores the intersection of imagined histories and sociopolitical realities on our bodies using monoprinting, performance, experimental video, and collage techniques. A graduate of Wesleyan University, her work has been featured in New York, Berlin, and San Francisco. She is currently an MFA candidate at Maryland Institute College of Art.
