Karen I. Hirsch is an international award-winning commercial, editorial and fine art photographer and digital artist based in Chicago, IL. Her photos have been published in Communication Arts, Graphis, Architectural Digest, Forbes, the Chicago Tribune and many other magazines, newspapers, books and calendars.

In 2003, the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Illinois Arts Council sponsored her one-woman exhibit, "My Chicago," - featuring more than 200 images of Chicago's people, places and events.

In 2007, Hirsch was one of ten American ASMP photographers invited by China to photograph the city of Rizhao.

Earlier in her career, Hirsch had the opportunity to study with renowned photographers Ernst Haas, Arnold Newman and Jay Maisel.

She was the in-house photographer and magazine editor for Foote, Cone & Belding Advertising Agency.

Karen is co-president of Fort Dearborn-Chicago Photo Forum, an historic not-for-profit arts organization.

Recently, Hirsch was interviewed on NBC about her photos selected for set decor in the 20th Century Fox movie, “Widows.” She was also interviewed by CBS affiliate “Start-TV” national network.

Hirsch’s fine art prints are in corporate and private collections. They have been displayed in galleries in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and West Palm Beach, Florida.
