Kathleen Kastner is the owner of Kastner Publishing and is the author of the Karma Cats children's picture book series, which teaches kids to be kind to animals. Kathleen has a M.S in Education and a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas. She was a yoga teacher for 25 years and is the Founder and former Owner of Maya Yoga studio in Kansas City, MO. Kathleen has been vegan since 2002 and is certified in plant-based nutrition and coooking from The Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine. Kathleen lives in Encinitas, CA with her husband and three rescue cats
