Genet holds a masters degree in Counseling Psychology and has been in child welfare for 12 years. Genet started with Kids Central in 2004 and has worked in Operations for eight years. She was previously the Director of Permanency and prior to that, the Director of Out of Home Care. Genet was instrumental in reducing the costs of licensed care and is passionate about helping families. Genet is a huge advocate for Kids Central’s mission and vision and will be drawing from all of her past experiences to meet the challenges of this position. Genet is also involved in our program for placing newborns to prison inmates with relatives by using Family Finding.
