After a successful 14 year career in Human Resources Management and Consulting, Mr. Conforti followed his entrepeuiual inclinations and purchased the most successful Running Specialty brand in his home state of New Jersey. The Sneaker Factory founded in 1978 by Dean Shonts and renamed Sneaker Factory Running Centers in 2005 now encompasses three retail locations and a staff of over 20 running shoes professionals representing close to 100 manufactures of running related products. Sneaker Factory Running Centers is known for it's broad based expertise in all things running and it's leadership role partnering with local events and organizations in the New Jersey running community.

After almost 10 years in the running business, Mr. Conforti was motatvated to do more to help both people in need around the globe as well as Americans who want to make a greater commitment to their personal health and fitness though engaging in the sport of running. He realized that most runners felt their running shoes no longer served their primary purpose well before they were worn out to the point that the average non-runner could utlize them. It was at this point that Kindrunner was born.
