John Scott Cothill commenced his career in digital marketing and ecommerce in 2005 after a successful career in the British Army. Working for a Beverley based digital agency, John was the publishing manager of a team of 30 staff members, working with some of the UKs biggest and greatest online shopping retailers such as Next and the Home Direct Group (Littlewoods) to name but a few.

Through his vision and passion, John moved on to client side work as he wanted to focus solely on a singular business/project, so he found himself at the helm of a brand new online costume retailer that managed to sell in excess of £2,000,000 within it's first trading year.

By 2011, John was head hunted by one of the world's largest manufacturers of fancy dress and party wear, where he headed up a team and created the digital strategy for the business to move forward and offer it's very first direct to consumer offerings, which involved numerous breakthrough technologies that allowed for an omni-sales presence, both on and offline, which spanned from the UK/Europe to sales in Australia.

Having served 5 years in his previous position as Head of Digital, John is now heading up eCommerce activities for an exciting new online furniture retailer that is making headway within this market space, even though the market is well established with business that have been trading for more than 10+ years.
