I’d like to thank you for being here on The Chronicles of Mania and giving life and meaning to this body of work. I want you to know that I am okay now and have been fine for a while. It took years but I’ve found a balance between a high-functioning mind and a stable life. The sadness and ambition are still there but in a good way. Former identities like ShaveFace and The Second Coming are long since distant, a permanently fleeting memory if you will.
Here’s some irrelevant stuff about me you won’t get to read about in The Chronicles: I really like squirrels. I’m a pretty quiet guy usually and have gotten INFP on the Myers Briggs Personality four out of four times. I believe my grandfather is my guardian angel. I like movies; war and documentaries are my favorite genres. I’ve been a big fan of the UFC and MMA in general since 2004; my favorite fighters in the cage are Nick and Nate Diaz, Fedor Emelianenko, Donald Cerrone, Anderson Silva, Cain Velasquez, and Forrest Griffin.
I enjoy the taste of beer and drink pretty frequently. After I have a few beers I become a better oral communicator (as used in the filming of the Press Release). Ace Venture Pet Detective was a huge influence on my adolescence; I love all mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and arthropods. The only life I will take is that of centipedes and mosquitoes, for obvious reasons. I have two cats, a boy named Stanley and a girl named Ignatia; I take care of them like children. I have three gapped maturity levels: that of a 10 year old, a 17 year old, and a 90 year old; people generally struggle with that. I enjoy the company of the elderly and would like to one day volunteer at an old folk’s home as a therapeutic writing instructor.
