 Andy Carey is a professional mobile home park operator and investment manager with many years of real estate investment and operations experience.

Andy Carey is CEO of Monolith Properties where he oversees 23 manufactured housing communities and more than 2,000 spaces in California and Oregon. Andy oversees all park operations, leading a team of experienced MHP professionals.

Prior to co-founding Monolith Properties in December 2017 he was President of Storz Management Company and oversaw more than 7,000 spaces in California, Oregon and Nevada from 2012 to 2017.

In 2015 he was appointed to the board of directors of the Western Manufactured Housing Communities Association (WMA), and simultaneously appointed to WMA’s Legislative Committee where he helps to champion legislation favorable to MHP owners and to oppose legislation that hurts the industry.

From 2006 to 2012, Andy led the real estate investment portfolio and operations of Granite Land Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Granite Construction (NYSE: GVA). As Manager of Real Estate Investments not only did he oversee corporate real estate throughout the country, but also the company’s $175MM equity investment portfolio.

Prior to his years with Granite, Andy was Operations Manager for Gordon Gibson Construction, a luxury home builder based in Santa Monica, as well as Managing Partner of a successful Southern California boutique real estate investment partnership.

Andy is a licensed California real estate broker, licensed Oregon Property Manager, and licensed Nevada real estate sales agent. He is also a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. Andy is an active member of MHP industry associations such as WMA, MHCO, and CMPA. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
