Michael Pechony has co-founded Anchor and Anvil in 2007 . Under his leadership the firm has successfully withstood multiple market adjustments due to his ability to identify only those transactions which had the highest chances of success. Having found an undeserved niche in current access to capital by SME's and commercial real estate operators, Michael has restructured Anchor & Anvil into a full service capital advisory firm having a primary focus on commercial lending for businesses and CRE. Michael has always been a successful entrepreneur, having a knack for raising debt and equity capital. Throughout his career, Michael has managed a number of very successful US companies, some of which were sold and some of which have gone public. Outside of Anchor & Anvil, Michael holds a director position at American Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, an advisory board seat at Core Element Ventures, and an advisory board seat at ASC - a Chicago based CMBS firm. When he is not working, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, travel, and sailing on Lake Michigan.
