After 15 years working in the US, Europe, and Latin America as a bilingual software development and management professional, Myriam Siftar’s career took an entrepreneurial turn. In 2003, she merged her love of languages and deep interest in culture with her technology background and built MTM LinguaSoft, a language services partner helping clients grow in foreign markets and multilingual environments.
Now at Scriptis, Myriam brings her leadership skills, technical know-how, and business acumen to her role as US General Manager. She is active in various business and professional organizations. She has served on the board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Marketing Association, the ANA/BMA Business Marketing Association. In 2018, she was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to a second four-year term on the Mid-Atlantic District Export Council. Myriam earned an M.S. in Computer Science at a leading French engineering school and an M.B.A. from Drexel University.
Myriam has presented seminars on website globalization and multicultural communication to a number of groups including the World Trade Centers of Greater Philadelphia, Central Pennsylvania and Delaware; the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. She has also presented at events organized by the US Export Assistance Centers of the Department of Commerce in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
