Karen Chua joined Mundial Securities in 1999 as Executive Assistant to our founding President Fernando de la Pena, before also becoming Head of Communications in 2004. As part of the succession plan following the retirement of Mr. de la Pena, Karen was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in 2006 and became Vice-President in 2008. Karen is responsible for the daily operations at Mundial Securities, including Human Resources, Administration, Compliance and Communications.

Karen Chua has a Bachelor's Degree in Law and has an MBA from Hult International Business School. Karen has worked for several leading entrepreneurs in Asia, as a personal executive assistant and for many start-ups as consultant, combining her organisational, legal and entrepreneurial experience. Karen has founded, managed and sold a successful recruitment agency in Hong Kong and has extensive contacts in the Asian business community.
