Tn Nursery has been around over half a century. In 1946 Roscoe Tate founded Mountain Ornamental Nursery. This was the second generation of nursery growers. Roscoe resided in the small town of Altamont Tennessee, 28 miles from McMinnville, the Nursery Capitol of The World. He was knowledged above most that even held a degrees in Horticulture in wisdom and plants. He was able to make a good income and provide when times were lean for everyone and also gave locals jobs when there was little else to do to make an income.He helped families provide for their families and pay their bills when he could. He was a good man with morals above most. Passed down two more generations and a name changed to be more Internet friendly, Tn Nursery has now grown to have one of the largest availability of plants in the Southeastern United States. Specializing in Native Rare Plants, landscaping trees, Perennial Plants, Ferns and Shrubs.
