Joseph has been studying Taekwondo for 20 years and has trained under Grand Master Doo Young Pai. He has competed and coached mainly in sparring at all levels of competition from the Local and State Level to the National and International Level. His competition medal count includes a Silver and Bronze in sparring at U.S. Nationals, Silver medal at the Korean Open and a Gold at the ATU Nationals.
Joseph has coached numerous athletes to their own medals at these same competitions. As a coach Joseph has been certified as an AAU Coach and a Level 1 U.S.A. Taekwondo Coach.
Currently he operates one of the schools under Grand Master Pai. This allows him time to train with his son and work with the students he loves. In order to continually better himself and those he trains Joseph is currently working on his Personal Trainer Certification.
