At Pearl Natural Health, licensed acupuncturist Ellen Goldsmith (L.Ac.) and naturopathic physician Dr. Weiner work together in an integrated setting where they are able call on each other’s skills and knowledge to comprehensively evaluate and treat people.
A licensed practitioner in Oriental and Classical Chinese medicine, Ellen brings together acupuncture, dietary therapy, Chinese herbs and mindfulness-based stress reduction with a strong commitment to supporting each person’s path to health and wellness. Ellen has a special interest in the treatment of pain and draws on her extensive background in movement and movement therapies from years of dancing and treating performing artists in New York City.
Also active in policy and education, Ellen serves on the board of directors of the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland and is a past committee member of the Acupuncture Advisory Committee to the Oregon Medical Board. She teaches at the School of Classical Chinese Medicine at the National College of Natural Medicine and offers mindfulness-based stress reduction classes through Pearl Natural Health.
