Edward Phelps is the Founder of Pocket Awareness publishing. Phelps founded Pocket Awareness to produce and publish wisdom for living that's easy to access, understand, and use. Wisdom for all.

Along the way during a successful career as a marketing and communications design professional, he found himself on a more than twenty six year journey of self-discovery. This journey produced an inner awakening, and a mission to make essential wisdom for living more accessible to more people. He describes this mission this way:

“As part of my own journey of self-discovery I read dozens of spiritual and self-help books, Eastern wisdom, and other writings. Overall the reading level of these texts required my two college degrees and a dictionary beside me to achieve basic comprehension. It occurred to me that the essential wisdom in these texts would be more accessible to a lot more people if they were presented in short format text without any big words.”

Phelps has plans to write four more books and accompanying Practice Tools for publication by Pocket Awareness. He is also reviewing submissions from other authors interested in producing content under the Pocket Awareness guidelines.
