Tom started his career in the pool industry in 1979 selling and installing spas and redwood hot tubs. After several years of selling and building pools, he went on to open the doors of Pool Environments in 1990 with the hopes of creating a new kind of construction experience for the client. He states that in 34 years he has seen just about everything. “Practiced knowledge, applied to future projects is the best teaching aid”, Rozell says, along with, “We have the opportunity to be involved in some of the most complex projects that are constructed. Each one of these is a learning experience applied to the next”. Tom is passionate about exceeding the clients’ expectations and consistently seeks ways to evolve the construction experience to a new level. Tom encourages and inspires creativity and excellence from every member of his team, as well as the sub-contractors. “Just because we did something one way yesterday, doesn’t mean we can’t find a better way to do it today”, says Rozell. Tom is married with two grown children and loves riding his Harley. He believes in giving back to the community and recently completed training to become a volunteer firefighter. You will often find him with his miniature dachshund “Buster” (whom he rescued from a local shelter) in tow . As Tom is always on the go and loves life, it is no surprise that his favorite quote is “Life Is Good!”
