Shoaib Ahmed the Senior Project Manager at NSG NZ. His role involves programme and project management and strategic coordination to ensure the programme office runs smoothly to deliver practical, cost effective and timely implementations, maximising client investment.

Shoaib has practical in depth understanding of SDLC. He holds APMG accreditations in Programme, Project and Service Delivery Management; and has a Bachelors degree in Computing Systems. Shoaib has been part of several projects being recognized with major international accolades.

In his current role, Shoaib is responsible for programme office excellence, mentoring junior project managers, participating in pre-sales activities, by providing input into RFP and RFI responses, providing project governance expertise to sister companies in the US and India - with specific expertise in Climate Change and Port initiatives. His major accomplishment includes implementation of Microsoft Project Server 2010 to streamline resource allocation across the project portfolio and highlighting future growth needs.

Shoaib is currently facilitating delivery of enterprise systems to three North American ports, providing oversight for the geospatial support programme for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Agency (CERA), handling change management project outsourcing internal IT infrastructure and hosted solutions to managed service providers; helping company executives develop 5 year plan and developing group wide processes to incorporate standard practices from pre-sales to project delivery and support.
