Gerry's professional experience started while he was still in college, when he joined the staff of a well-established small consulting firm in South Carolina, working primarily in the Financial Services industry..Mentored by senior management consultants, he learned to combine his education in psychology with proven business practices. He gained deep experience in process improvement and instructional design for coach-based training.

After 12 years with that group, he moved on to start his own business in the insurance industry. Over the course of a decade, he learned all aspects of the association he partnered with - sales, recruiting, leadership, and small business management - and was mentoring new business owners, as well as training sales and administrative staff for others in the association.

During this time, his colleagues and clients from his first consulting work continued to call on him. Eventually, these calls led him to found Quantum Point in 2011, to dedicate himself full-time to what he recognized as a real need in the business world: developing real business results with a focus on the people involved.
