 Grant A. Hewitt is a savvy political operative with a knack for grassroots mobilization, message development and targeting who has served on local, state and national campaigns across the country.  
Grant A. Hewitt is a savvy political operative with a knack for grassroots mobilization, message development and targeting who has served on local, state and national campaigns across the country. Grant was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Kalispell, Montana, and holds a B.S. in Political Science from Texas Christian University.

First cutting his political teeth on an assortment of Texas races, including those of Governor Rick Perry and Senator John Cornyn, before joining the Bush-Cheney campaign in 2004. In 2005, Grant joined the Republican National Committee's Victory staff for the 2005 state races in Virginia, where he developed and led the rural Virginia and sportsman coalitions as well as executed the grassroots outreach plan, ensuring a victory for the campaigns of the Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General.

His extensive involvement in Nevada politics began while serving as Deputy Campaign Manager for Governor Jim Gibbons’ 2006 campaign prior to serving as Co-Executive Director of the Nevada Republican Party. Following the 2006 election, Grant served as Director of Government Affairs and Community Relations for Black Gaming in Mesquite.

In 2008, Grant served as campaign manager for Edward Tinsley’s congressional campaign in New Mexico. Where he successfully navigated a five-way Republican primary, which became known as the "Battle of the Associations,” Tinsley having served as past president of the National Restaurant Association and a primary opponent holding a leadership role with the National Association of Realtors.

In 2009, Grant formed Red Point Strategies, Inc., a full service strategic consulting firm that specializes in political strategy, community affairs and government relations. And, in 2010, he served as Campaign Manager of Dr. Joe Heck’s successful run to represent Nevada’s third congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. After the election, Grant continued his role with Congressman Heck, acting as Transition/District Director in order to facilitate the opening of the Congressman’s District office and oversee the transition of the organization. Today, Grant serves as the President of Red Point Strategies, Inc., and is actively involved with the state and county Republican parties. Additionally, he continues to support Congressman Heck as an informal political advisor.

Grant currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with his dog, Julie.
