After a successful career working in development for a local Arc in West Virginia Ian Rudick created Come From the Heart initially to benefit non-profits through discounted long distance. As a serial and social entrepreneur he has tried many ways to use business as a tool for making the world a better place.

Currently he contracts with contract with companies that manufacture reusable grocery bags, wine bags, and thermal bags. Come From the Heart creates metal bottlecap refrigerator magnets, and renews tee shirts into up-cycled custom printed tee shirts and bags.

In the past he and his wife I owned a dance center in Clarksburg, West Virginia and he served as president of a local arts group in West Virginia for a decade. He helped form a regional community foundation in North Central West Virginia. Currently he serves as chair of a workshop committee for OLLI at UNC Asheville.

Having worked with non-profits and owning his own business Rudick would like to see non-profits be more business like and businesses be more like non-profits. He currently bridges those two worlds working part time for the non-profit Hope Chest for Women.
