In 2012, Annie obtained a Master of Arts degree in Professional Communications at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) where, in 2010, she graduated Cum Laude and was named to the Dean’s List earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and units completed toward a minor in Radio, TV & Film. She was named a recipient of The LAGRANT Foundation Scholarship in 2011. Annie is currently the Vice President of Marketing for the Alumni Association College of Communications Chapter at CSUF and a volunteer public information officer for the American Red Cross.

Annie is a freelance photographer and journalist writing for publications such as the Independent News in Anaheim and Buena Park; The Event News in Cypress; and the News-Enterprise in Los Alamitos. She was the principle photographer and co-designer for the Placentia Mustangs’ baseball program and the Junior Olympics 16-and-under Baseball Team in 2009 and 2010. Annie also held an internship as sports photographer at Cypress College in 2007.

Annie was a contributing author for the Gigare Lifestyle Magazine September 2012 issue with an article named “The Spirit of Entrepreneurship: Taking Risks.” Another article written by Annie entitled “Critical Thinking: Which Stories Should Be Published On Which Platforms?” was published in the March 2012 issue of Editor and Publisher.

After 20 years experience working in the corporate environment, 15 years in the entertainment industry, six years as a freelance reporter and sports photographer, Annie launched her own public relations consultancy in July 2012 specializing in public relations, event planning, talent management and representation, social media, sports/studio photography and video production. Her growing client list includes: LG Services Inc. (attorney services), Goode Time Productions (entertainment), Michael Pauls Entertainment (party rentals and mobile DJ), Nels Jenstad (musician/ composer), Blues Detectives (Blues band) and Emmy Award-winning Percussionist Emedin Rivera.
