In 1996 Raj founded HydraWeb Technologies where he led a small team of developers to build the industry’s first load-balancer. The company and revenues grew sharply. The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, JC Penny, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Deutsche Post, CSFB, Bear Stearns, WorldCom, NTT, Dow Jones, Forbes, Deutsche Telekom, AP, NEC and Minolta were among some its customers.

In 2002, Raj founded Packet General Networks, a startup that brought the concept of secure server appliance to the market. The company helped some of the leading organizations like MasterCard, PayPal, AOL.com, MRM Worldwide, GameSys, Air Malta and many others to achieve regulatory compliance with help of its encrypted MySQL, SFTP and SAMBA server appliances.

In 2014, Raj founded Server General, the industry’s first cloud vendor-neutral data encryption service to serve small-to-medium sized businesses. The service enables SMBs to transparently encrypt their cloud server data in minutes without having to worry about technical issues key management.

Over the past 20 years, Raj has brought together diverse groups of people in the industry and inspired them to achieve beyond their capabilities, led companies from zero to multi-million dollar in revenues and effectively managed small multinational operations.
