Jamaal Bachelor is a professional writer and editor. He serves as associate editor for HHW Magazine, and editorial/blog writer for Rodeo Drive Resale (www.shopRDR.com), a premiere reseller of luxury designer fashions.
Jamaal Bachelor got his start in the world of professional media in 2007, when he was hired as copy editor of the Killeen Daily Herald, a Central Texas newspaper that covers Killeen/Ft. Hood and surrounding areas with a daily circulation of about 20,000 and a Sunday circulation of about 26,000. With a long-held passion from writing, he would eventually join the Galveston Country Daily news Iocated in Galveston, Texas, where he also served as copy editor while also writing a weekly column which focused largely on family and slice-of-life based humor.

In 2010, he began working with popular urban music Web site SOHH.COM and became a regular contributor, interviewing artists and publishing a daily blog. His interviews and stories would eventually gain the attention of the staff at Hip Hop Weekly Magazine, and, a year later, he was hired to write feature stories. This opportunity eventually led to a position as associate editor, wherein Bachelor not only conducts interviews, but researches up-and-coming artists and plans the layout for the magazine’s music section.

In 2012, Bachelor discovered a new interest: Fashion. In addition to his magazine duties, he serves as writer for Rodeo Drive Resale, a popular online reseller of luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Christian Louboutin, and more. There, he writes press releases and publishes a daily blog which highlights designer fashion “from the runway to reality.”
