Stephen Holroyd is the Principal of Shrewsbury International School, a highly academic British-curriculum school based in central Bangkok. He had previously worked at Shrewsbury School, its sister school in the UK, for almost 20 years during which time he worked as a teacher of English, Cricket Master, House Master and finally as Second Master (deputy Headmaster).
He is a member of the HMC, the UK-based headteachers organisation, and works closely with his counterpart at Shrewsbury School in the UK.
A graduate of Durham University, Stephen is committed to helping students achieve academic excellence and nurturing talent in music, sport and the creative and performing arts.
Since arriving in Bangkok, Stephen has forged strong links within the Bangkok community and is a member of the Duke of Edinburgh Steering Committee, the Royal Overseas League Council, and the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand. Stephen is a keen cricketer, an avid golfer (member at Ayodhya Links) and a passionate supporter of Everton FC.
