A native of Pennsylvania, Smith ran a successful clinic Rapid City, SD before relocating to Erdenheim, PA in 2011. A well respected practitioner in the field of medicine, Smith has taught and written articles about the use of acupuncture for foot pain. Those articles formed a unique seminar (NCCAOM PDA approved), in which Smith teaches students and practitioners how to get better results when treating foot pain in the clinic.

Smith is published in The Journal of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture Today, American Acupuncturist, The Lantern, Qi: The Journal of Eastern Health and Fitness, and Chinese Medicine Times on the topic of foot pain and Chinese medicine.

Smith is an active volunteer as an acupuncturist in the hospice setting.

Smith is a graduate with honors from Southwest Acupuncture College. Smith is nationally certified by NCCAOM, and holds an active PA license to practice acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

Smith is known for his caring, patient-focused approach in the clinic.
