Leslie Mayo pre-heated the oven and started Southern Paw Kitchen from her home in the heart of Dixie. Her two rescued terriers, Tickle and Speck, are the inspirations for her vision to provide all natural, homemade treats, with no preservatives. Since she's more likely to appear on "Pinterest Fail" blogs when it comes to food decorating, she created treats that play on her best asset: good southern cooking.

In addition to, starting a business from scratch, she works full time for a Christian publisher in the Finance department. She was formerly a licensed life, health, and variable contracts insurance agent in the state of Tennessee.

Leslie received her Bachelors of Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance from Middle Tennessee State University.
