Jeremy Hovater, the owner and founder of Sunset Business Advisors, has earned the distinction of Accredited Business Intermediary (ABI) and Accredited Business Valuation Analyst (ABVA) from the American Business Brokers Association by completing its advanced business broker educational curriculum. What this means to you is he has extensive knowledge of the industry and is always looking to learn new things in order to help his clients.

Mr. Hovater has owned and managed other businesses and understands the particular needs of a small business owner. In addition, he has extensive knowledge and experience working for and managing an insurance company whose business model was centered on the needs of small main street businesses.

He has also worked as a Credit Specialist and Economic Analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. This provided him with valuable insight on the many different ways the Federal Reserve and Federal Open Market Committee’s (FOMC) actions impact the economy and thus, small business owners.

Mr. Hovater holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of North Alabama as well as an MBA and a Masters in Personal Financial Planning from Georgia State University.
