Electrical Engineer and inventor and professional wood/metal worker, ham radio operator (KK4VXL) and holder of 2 US Patents for computer-related designs.
With a varied business background that has included business management consulting, design and inventing computer related devices, owning and operating a tax preparation business from a major national chain and a successful wood and metal design firm, Mr. DiGiovanni became interested in survival communications in the event of natural, economic, social or other disaster.

No viable products were on the market that met the strict criteria he used to evaluate the current offerings. It wasn't enough to a portable unit. It had to meet the rigors of rough treatment in adverse conditions and allow regular and reliable communications.

Thus started Survive Safely, Inc., a company dedicated to the development of such products. With his background in electrical engineering and inventing, he spent 7 days a week dedicated to finding solutions to the myriad of problems associated with this type of system. It didn't fall together quickly. Many prototypes were developed and scrapped.

As a perfectionist, he overcame, what some considered, overwhelming odds to produce the first marketable product (the Go-Comm-Elite) in January of 2014, followed closely by the Go-Comm-Platinum in June of 2014.

He continues his research and development in refining the existing products as well as developing additional products at his home outside Charlotte, NC.
