Mark Frietch founded Frietch Consulting Group because he saw as an experienced professional in the talent acquisition industry the job search process had been changing over time. He decided that he wanted to focus his efforts on educating individuals how they could take advantage of these changes to secure employment. Described as a recruiter who stays ahead of the trends, Mark has become a published author and sought-after public speaker.
He first got his experience as a industrial/light clerical recruiter for a small boutique firm where he quickly rose to a Branch Manager overseeing two offices in North and South Carolina. He then moved into contingency recruiting for an Accounting/Finance firm. Mark was able to secure a position as a Corporate Recruiter for a Fortune 50 Financial Services company. During his tenure, he was a part of the reorganization of it talent acquisition process to focus on providing a better candidate experience.
In May of 2009, he was displaced during the height of the economic crisis. Rather than just sit on the sidelines and become a statistic, Mark focused on putting his strengths to work as a recruiter to sell his talents on a contractual basis. During this time, he was approached about assisting in presentations on how Linkedin was being used by recruiters to find talent. After a few presentations, individuals approached Mark about learning more about Linkedin for their job search and the thought of Frietch Consulting was being formed.
Currently, he resides in North Carolina where he is working on additional books about the job search and talent acquisition while expanding the Frietch Consulting Group brand.
