BIOGRAPHY

EVAN KATZ, M.C., LPC, MAC is "The Anger Guy." By telling his own story, Evan leads the way through the angry mind, shining light on why people, when angry, really act the way they do. His disarming delivery brings enlightenment to the mysteries of why we engage in unnecessary conflict. He describes a path to the personal freedom and professional respect we all long for.

After nearly 20 years specialized in counseling with angry men, Evan Katz has seen it all. As a seasoned psychotherapist, he’s mastered the skills and techniques to guide any person in any profession to see things in themselves they haven’t seen before.

As a public speaker, he guides both professionals and the public through laughter and heartfelt self-examination, down a pathway to begin the journey toward wholeness and renewed relationships.

Evan has testified in both criminal and domestic proceedings, been court appointed as a specialist on several death penalty cases, and provided court ordered evaluations. He is a military veteran; awarded the Air Force Achievement medal and an Honorable Discharge in 1987.

Evan’s groundbreaking book, "Inside the Mind of an Angry Man," is receiving accolades from clients, colleagues and the public. He is featured on two CDs: "Angry Men and the Women who Love Them," and "Parenting High Risk Teens." Evan has been interviewed countless times by the media, including: Men's Health magazine, WCTV in Tallahassee, Teens Talk Truth, Blog Talk Radio and WREK in Atlanta. He was recently included in Rebel Magazine's March/April edition as their Back Story feature and will travel to NYC for a guest appearance the Time Warner Cable talk show CoachTV later this year.
