Bob started his award-winning copywriting career at the legendary Collett Dickinson Pearce when the agency was winning every creative accolade in town. His subsequent career took in a number of London’s leading advertising agencies including Grey and M&C Saatchi and spanned everything from DM to TV, but always with the emphasis on results driven creativity.
Bob is also a highly experienced journalist having written for The Sun and Daily Mirror as well as The Times and The Daily Telegraph, and also spent many years working as a media skills teacher. Bob was amongst the very first to recognise the creative brand building potential of Google AdWords, is the author of The Method which is The ATO Co’s copywriting manual for Google AdWords; and oversees the recruitment and training of ATO copywriters.
