Lori Harris-Height, Principal of The Auxiliary Group, is a Personal Assistant and Concierge professional, who works with prominent Silicon Valley professionals, businesses, and families streamlining procedures eliminating unproductive work routines and managing daily tasks creating time-pressure free environments for achieving personal and business success.A great deal of Lori’s knowledge comes from working in fast-paced corporate environments requiring absolute follow through and the ability to quickly grasp new applications and other office operating systems. Throughout 1989-2004, Lori held positions within Electric Power Research Institute, in Palo Alto CA., earning promotions and awards for professionalism, excellence, and outstanding customer service. It was at EPRI where Lori gained wide-range understanding of daily administrative support duties and office operational procedures, and the importance of superior customer service, as well as the importance of confidentiality. Lori’s strengths include mailroom, shipping, and receiving management, high-level executive administrative support, and customer service. During 1999-2004, Lori worked as an Administrative Clerk to the President and CEO, providing daily administrative assistance to EPRI’s top executives. She accomplished projects requiring the use of good judgment and the development of clear and comprehensive reports. She performed extensive information research, created, and utilized databases for file management, and participated in focus groups, committees, personal development courses, and training seminars. Lori also participated in Toastmasters International, serving as Vice President of Public Relations in 2003.
Throughout her career, Lori has dedicated selfless hours assisting individuals and companies attain increased productivity, goal achievement, and the reduction of time-consuming tasks. Her proactive approach to problem solving and troubleshooting avoids reoccurring and future problems. She rationalizes activities, performing tasks involving organization and the use of critical thinking. She understands and applies written and verbal directions with little or no supervision. During 2005-2008 Lori worked with E3 Institute, Ops Industry Council, Lattice Semiconductor, 24/7customer.com, and Classic Vacations a subsidiary of Expedia.com.
Prior to launching The Auxiliary Group, Lori attended Heald College in Milpitas, CA. graduating with Business Administration credentials, while she simultaneously attended an 11-week evening course: “Simple Steps to Business”, a program through the Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment, earning a course certificate and Congressional Honors for “Dedication to the Community”. Lori is currently participating in the Women’s Initiative’s “Graduate Leadership Council” and in 2009 served as the council secretary.
Lori is currently completing everyday projects using Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Outlook, and other resources expanding client’s time, eliminating the demand for juggle multiple tasks or the need to push and cram errands into lunches, evenings, and weekends. Lori’s task management creates a balanced and a simple way of living; removing time conflicts, reducing stress, and alleviating frustration promoting a lifestyle of relaxation, focus, and liveliness, freeing individuals to concentrate on core personal and business responsibilities, spotlighting the areas in client’s lives they aspire to enhance and develop.
