Farida has been in the tourism industry for more than 20 years. Started her career as Guest Relation, in charge especially, but not limited, for German-speaking clients/guests, in a local Balinese boutique resort in Nusa Dua, Bali. It was back in 1991, before she jumped into travel industry in 1992 and moved from there to a different type of business within. Spent for almost 5 years in a Bali based Australian day cruise company as Sales Manager, she started to build her career in Sales. Back to hotel in 2004, along with the return of tourists to Bali post the tragic event of Bali Bomb 1 in 2002, she served 2 years as Director of Sales (Sales & Marketing Manager) for Sanur Beach Hotel (now Prama Sanur Beach Hotel). Spent the last 9 years afterward at the same position as DOS/M in some luxury hotels/resorts (Karma Resorts, Waka Hotels & Cruises, Sentosa Private Villas & Spa Bali and the most recently Orient-Express Hotels, Bali - Jimbaran Puri Bali and ex Ubud Hanging Gardens). Worked in various types of hotels with different concepts and characters from one to another (those including different clienteles) has undoubtedly contributed to her skills and knowledge, which formed her as she is today. On 10 Feb 2014 she joined The Grand Bali Nusa Dua Suites & Spa, a boutique resort with 63 suites and pool villas and given credence as Dir. of Sales & Operation, which is a new role in her career, but a step ahead to her goal.
