Gary McCoy, as ther Public Relations Director for The Marx Group, has over 25 years of experience in marketing communications and public relations, with over 15 years of work in the automotive aftermarket. Having worked as a journalist in radio news and as a magazine and newsletter editor, he provides clients with hands-on expertise on how to successfully work with the media. Gary is also the founder of Fairway Communications.

He is a past president of the Automotive Communication Council (ACC) and in 2009 he received the prestigious Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket Management Education Award. Since 2008 he has served as the managing editor of Springs magazine, a quarterly publication of the Spring Manufacturers Institute (SMI). He is a regular contributor to Aftermarket Business World magazine and APRA’s Global Connection newspaper.
