In 2011 Stephanie sold her investment and insurance practice to focus her efforts on: "Being the change, we need in the Financial Services Industry." She wanted to see Cash Flow Planning become a normal & standardized part of the financial planning process.

Since then, her company The Money Finder, officially launched a new designation for Canadian advisors—The Certified Cash Flow Specialist™ (CCS™) Designation. Now Cash Flow Planning has a standardized process. The CCS™ gives financial advisors the tools they need to create written cash flow plans, helping clients get more life from the money they already have.

The Money Finder also created the Online Money Finder Bootcamp which is now available in both Canada and the United States. The Canadian version of Bootcamp qualifies for 8 FPCS CE* credits (Financial Planning Standards Council) for CFP Professionals.

Stephanie regularly writes about finance for national publications including Advisor.ca and The Globe and Mail. She also appears regularly on TV to talk about finance during her own CTV Atlantic News Segment, Money Matters. She is the author of two books, Defusing the Debt Bomb and $pent.
