Dr. Percy Ricketts is a Psychotherapist, National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Parenting and Divorce consultant, who has been in private practice in Pembroke Pines, Florida for over 15 years. He is an alumnus of Virginia Tech, Nova Southeastern University and Argosy University, with a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology.

Dr. Ricketts enjoys counseling men of diverse backgrounds. He also counsels women and children, individuals, couples and families. He also enjoys teaching adults and supervising counseling interns. He is the author of several books on a wide variety of topics and he is the developer of the “Parenting for Divorce” curriculum. Parenting for Divorce, is a 4-hour, parenting education and family stabilization program that is approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families. Divorcing parents with minor children and those who are involved in paternity cases in the state of Florida must complete this type of program before their legal actions can be finalized.

Dr. Ricketts maintains active memberships in numerous local, national and international counseling-related and other organizations and he is a board member of the Broward County Mental Health Counselors Association. He has been married for 23 years and he is the father of two sons.
