Prior to founding UCG, Tony Wood created several online businesses and consultancies, including being founder of the largest online art gallery in Europe in the early years of the Internet.

Tony Wood has a background in Classics and the Arts, with a Degree from the University of Sheffield UK. He went on to study the sciences and has further qualifications in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Physics and Mathematics.

His professional career started as a computer programmer in the UK engineering industry, going on to being a design consultant in the Energy and Process Plant industries with a world-wide client base.

He now spends most of his professional life advising businesses on growth strategies using the internet and involved in various philanthropic activities that are close to his heart.
