Matt Rosen

 Matt has served in executive level positions with Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitec America and other global corporations. He has also worked as Asst Attorney General to the State of Ohio and Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Energy.

Matt comes to Learning Empowered after serving as Vice President and General Counsel of Lutheran Services Florida, where he helped fuel the organization’s expansion from $34 million to $230 million. As an executive and attorney, Matt brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate leadership to the Learning Empowered Executive Director position having previously served in executive level positions with Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitec America and other multi-national corporations. He has also worked in the public sector as Assistant Attorney General to the State of Ohio, and Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Energy, Environment, Research and Safety.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College and a Juris Doctor from Chase College of Law. In 2015, he received the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Award for Top Corporate Counsel in the Governmental and Not-for-Profit arenas. Matt stood out as a Corporate Counsel due to his versatility, judgement, and “can-do” attitude.

Matt is the President of Congregation Beth Sholom in Gulfport, Florida, and has been on the Board of several other profit and nonprofit corporations and is the proud father of three children.
