About the Author

Eric Paul Erickson is the author of the novel “Ascension” and creator of The Torch Universe books including the immensely popular "Virginia Dare." He is the author of the #1 bestselling book "How To Start A Podcast In Less Than A Day."

As a journalist, Erickson has worked for the Chicago Tribune's storied City News Bureau and the Roswell Daily Record. His work has appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times and various other newspapers, magazines and media outlets. He currently hosts the interview podcast "The Open Highway with Eric Erickson," available on all major platforms.

Erickson wrote, directed and co-starred in “Truth.” The film won the Best Feature award at the Women’s International Film Festival as well as bringing home Best Director honors for Erickson at the Silver State Film Festival and the Marina del Rey Film Festival. Erickson also won the Best Actor Award and the Best Storytelling Award at the Laughlin International Film Festival. The film was an official selection for a number of other festivals, including the Arctic Open Film Festival in Arkhangelsk, Russia where Erickson was a guest and presented the film. He has written and directed several other feature and short films and appeared in movies and television.
