Having joined W.E Clark & Son as an 18 year old sales consultant, just after the big Lewes flood in 2001, the business was undertaking a major refurbishment.
Daniel completed the Jewellery education and training exams and qualified with a distinction; his interests in gemstones led to the Jewellery Education Gemmology diploma as he became a senior sales consultant.

Having now gained a managers diploma and holding the position of senior manager, overseeing the day to day running of both shops, Daniel selects new brands and designs bespoke jewellery for the 'Clark Collection' using Computer Aided Design.
He travels every year to visit W.E. Clark & Son's diamond merchant in Antwerp, where he hand selects loose diamonds for new bespoke jewellery items.
