 As a Background Artist at Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios, Barry contributed to some of the most iconic animated films of the last 20 years, including: "The Lion King", "Pocahontas," "Lilo & Stitch," and as Background Supervisor on "Brother Bear." 
After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute, Barry began working full-time as a Background Artist at Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios in Orlando, Florida. His work there with such dedicated and truly talented artists gave him an understanding of craftsmanship and helped develop a passion for landscape and figurative painting with an emphasis on light, value, color and emotion.

While with Disney, Barry contributed to some of the most iconic animated films of the last twenty years, including: The Lion King, Pocahontas, and Lilo and Stitch, working his way up from in-between artist in the early 1990s, to Background Supervisor on the 2003 release, Brother Bear.

Barry has since relocated back to Colorado, where he grew up, and built a successful career as a gallery exhibited painter, and Animation Instructor, sharing his years of experience with a new generation of digital artists. As a partner in Worker Studio, Barry brings a grew deal of talent, wisdom, and enthusiasm to all of the company’s creative endeavors.
