Marsha Guerrier is a bestselling author, speaker, trainer, business analyst and coach, and CEO of Women on the Rise NY, Inc. dba HerSuiteSpot®, a SBE and WMBE Certified small business consulting agency. Marsha has held a career in the Financial Investment and FinTech industries spanning over 20 years working for Fortune 500 and startup firms, working in areas of Systems Test Engineer, Business Analysis and Product Management. Marsha is also the founder and Executive Director of the Yva Jourdan Foundation a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families with children with special needs and women entrepreneurs.
In her capacity as a Software Test Engineer Marsha has performed complex analysis on document distribution software to meet business requirements. Marsha maintains, manages and modifies all software systems and applications quality. Additionally she analyzes, develops and implements testing procedures and documentation for training purposes. In her capacity as Business Analyst Marsha defines specifications for complex software programming applications and interfaces with end-users and software consultants. Marsha provides support in resolving complex issues relating to business requirements and objectives. Coordinates and support software professionals in installing and analyzing applications and tools. Marsha trains and develops stakeholders as well as end users. Analyze, design and develop modifications and changes to existing systems to enhance performance.
Marsha holds a Bachelors of Science in Business, Management and Economics. She is a two time recipient of the State Assembly of New York’s Women of Distinction Award for her work with the Yva Jourdan Foundation and Women on the Rise NY, Inc. Marsha is a member of the Nassau County Comptroller MWBE Steering Committee, the Female Founders Collective and the Forbes Women’s Forum.
