Mark Stansell has been teaching in the Palm Beach County School District for 24 years – 11 years at Don Estridge High Tech Middle School. Stansell founded Digi-Camp in the summer of 2006, and first opened the doors that December. In the time since then, Digi-Camp has become the premier Winter, Spring and Summer Camp provider for South Florida’s youth interested in photography, video and television production and anything in between. Stansell credits Digi-Camp’s business model of being family friendly and affordable, as well as a ton of fun for kids as being the main reason for its success. He recently said, “Kids love the stuff we put in their hands, and parents know we care about their needs – that’s why Digi-Camp has been successful. Parents and kids know we offer a great value and we listen to our customers, adjusting our programs to meet their needs.” One recent example of this idea of “adjusting programs to meet their needs” came when Digi-Camp opened the Poinciana Campus for robotics and video game programming. Having a Boynton Beach campus for our offerings makes us more convenient for our friends to the north – meaning Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, Boynton and Delray Beach, and even Wellington.
